　　On the Importance of a Name
　　It is often debated that whether a name is important or not. Some persons consider their name were crucial for the following reasons. First of all, a good name represents a good image. For example, if your name is “Lin xiaohuang”, you can’t tolerate friends calling you “xiao huang” as a dog’s name usually. If you are a well-known company’s CEO at 50, you won’t be ridiculed by your subordinates for your name. Second, a good name is representative of expectations from your parents. For instance, your parents may hope you have a very happy life in the future if they named you “lele”.  
　　On the other hand, other people don’t mind what they are named. They feel that their names are just a simple code like a, b or c and lack of extra significance. In history, some people had made great contribution to human society even if they have common names.  
　　In my point of view, a name is not important. Even if we have dissatisfied names, we can change our names after growing up. In the foreign-invested companies, colleagues call each other English names. Hence, you can choose a perfect name for yourself.
