The Xisha Islands are one of four archipelagos of the South China Sea. Located in southern China, it has a part of Chinese territory since ancient times. According to the Old Book of Tang, the Chinese government has officially administered the sea area to the south of the Hainan Island since the Tang Dynasty. Surrounded by many islands and coral reefs, the Xisha Islands have plentiful marine resources, the main tropical fishing waters of China. Unfortunately, the area is prone to typhoons.
