Ask some questions about the reading. Ask 2-4 students to sum up John and Nancy’s school lives. Task 1 T: We know John’s favorite subject is Home Economics. Because he likes cooking and sewing. What’s your favorite subject? S: Chinese, Math, English, PE……Look at the pictures and teach the Ss the new words:Ask: What class is it? What can you learn from each subject?(Teacher can give a table.)
