Do you think English is quite important in MBA study?

Having an excellent command of English in speaking, reading, listening, and writing is critical to a MBA student as long as he wants to become an internationalized entrepreneur and doesn’t want to miss the huge potential of business opportunities in the cooperation with any company from English-speaking countries.
对于一个MBA学生来说，只要他想成为一个国际化的实业家，只要他不想错过和任何一家英语国家的公司因合作而带来的商务机会的巨大潜力，那么他就应该熟练地掌握英语的听说读写。
And since MBA projects have been far more developed in US and European countries than in China, an English proficiency will definitely be of a great help to the understanding and learning of advanced theories and practices in business administration.

Do you know something about the development of China’s MBA projects? Can you give any suggestions on the room for improvement of China’s MBA projects?
能否谈谈中国MBA课程的发展?能否给出一些改善中国MBA课程的建议?
I don’t know about it very much. I think that the development of Chinese economy requires profesional managers with high qualities. And based on the Chinese culture, China’s MBA projects could nurture more administrative talents suitable for the development of Chinese enterprises.
我不是很了解，我觉得中国经济的发展需要高素质的职业经理人，中国的MBA教育依托中国的文化，可以培养更多适合中国企业发展的管理人才。

I want to do the best I can at my job. Because many in this line are promoted to area manager, I am planning on that also.
我希望能在我的职位上尽力做好工作，由于在同一领域工作的许多人都被提为区域负责人，所以我亦有此打算。

So what’s your plans in the postgraduate study?
你是怎样计划自己的研究生期间学习的?
If luckily I got the chance to learn MBA course in Fudan University，I will concentrate on the study and research in this field. First，I will hard to learn the theoretical knowledge，constructing a solid base for my future work;Second，I would like to do some practical work with the help of the supervisor and classmates. And through this，I can get something that cannot be acquired from the textbooks. I believe after 2 years of learning，my dream will surely finally become true.
如果有幸能够得到在复旦读MBA的机会，我会在这个领域集中精力的学习研究。首先，我会努力学习理论知识，为我以后的工作建立牢固的基础;其次，在导师和同学们的帮助下我愿意从事一些实践性的工作，通过这种做法，我可以学到一些在书本上学不到的东西。我相信通过两年的学习，我的梦想一定最终变为现实。

Well, sometimes I want to be by myself, but most of the time I prefer being with a group of people, so I guess you’d say rather outgoing.
嗯，有的时候我想自己呆着，但是大部分时间我更愿意和大伙在一块，所以我想我更外向一些。

Do you call yourself introverted or extroverted?
你觉得自己性格是内向的还是外向的?
It just depends. When I promoted sales for my company, I was quite extroverted and persuasive. When I was promoted to the director of sales department, I got along quite well with the staff members; I liked interacting with them. On the other hand, in my spare time I prefer to be alone, thinking about my work and organization, my past, present and future, my failure and success, or anything I’d like to. At that time, I’d rather call myself introverted.
这要看情况。当我为公司推销商品的时候，我就非常外向并且具有说服性。当我晋职做到销售部经理时，我和员工们相处得非常融洽，我喜欢跟他们交往。另一方面，在我闲暇时，我更喜欢一个人呆着，思考着我的工作和组织，我的过去，现在和将来，我的成功和失败以及任何我喜欢思想的东西。在这时，我就比较内向了。

I feel happy for the happiness for others resulting from my work, when I see what I do benefit others.
