1、船舶的出境检疫，必须在最后离开的港口实施。

Exit quarantine for ships must be carried out at the final departing port.

2、入境的交通工具和人员，必须在最先到达的国境口岸指定地点接受检疫。

Entry means of transportation and human beings must be quarantined at the first entering port and ant a designated place.

3、“染疫人”是指正在患检疫传染病的人。

An infected person is one who is now having an infectious disease.

4、“染疫嫌疑人”是指接触过检验检疫传染病的感染环境，并且可能传播检疫传染病的人。

A suspect is one who comes in close contact with an infectious environment and may transmit qurantinable infectious disease.

5、船舶在到达时载有黄热病病例为染有黄热病。

A ship loaded with yellow fever patients is defined as yellow fever infected.

6、“隔离”意思是将染疫人留置在指定地点并限制其活动，给予医学治疗直至其不再具有传播疾病危险时为止。

Isolation means segregating an infected person at a designated place so as to restrict his activities and give him medical treatment until there is no danger of his spreading a communicable disease.

7、“留验”是指将染疫嫌疑人留置在指定地点实施诊察和检验。

Under observation means putting a suspect at a designated place for examination and inspection.

8、在离港船舶检疫完毕后，除领航员和经CIQ批准的人员外，任何人不得登岸，也不得装卸行李、物品和邮包。

After the departure quarantine of a ship has been completed, no one, except the pilot and those permitted by CIQ shall be allowed to embark and no articles such as luggage, goods and postal parcels shall be loaded or unloaded.

9、港务监督机构应当在受检疫船舶到达前，尽早通知CIQ下列事宜：船舶的名称与国籍，到达检疫锚地的日期和时间;航行口岸和最后去过的口岸;船员及旅客;货物种类。

The shipping agency shall, prior to the arrival of a ship which is subject to entry quarantine, inform the CIQ as early as possible of the following:

a. name and nationality of the ship and scheduled time and date of arrival at the quarantine anchorage;

b. port of sailing and last port of call.

c. Number of crew numbers and passengers on board the ship;

d. Category of the cargo.
