Jordanian doctor charged over terror bomb in Britain

    LONDON, July 19 (Xinhua) -- A Jordanian doctor has been charged with conspiracy to cause an explosion following the attempted bomb attacks in London and Glasgow late last month, Sky news reported on Thursday.

    Mohammed Asha, 26, from Staffordshire, central Britain, was arrested by police together with his wife on the M6 motorway in the wake of the failed attacks on June 29.

    He was charged with unlawfully and maliciously conspiring to cause explosions of a nature likely to endanger life or cause serious injury and will appear at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on Friday, said the report.

    Four men have been charged so far relating to the to car bomb incidents in Britain whereas two men and a woman have been released without charge.

    Two cars packed with petrol, gas cylinders and nails were discovered in central London on June 29. A day later a blazing jeep crashed into a major terminal building at Glasgow airport in north Britain.
