Exiled former Pakistani PM to return home soon

    ISLAMABAD, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- The exiled former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan on Sept. 10, a local TV channel DAWN NEWS reported on Thursday.

    The executive committee of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) held a meeting in London on Thursday. The committee made a decision at the meeting, which was presided by its leader Nawaz Sharif, saying that Sharif should return to his country on Sept. 10, according to reports of local TV channels.

    Sharif on Sunday said that he and his brother, the former provincial chief minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif would return back to the country prior to Ramadan, the Muslim fasting month.
