Talking to the Immigration Officer   

Officer: Passport. Please. (Pause) Thank you. I’ll need to see your boarding pass as well.

Mr. Lee: Here you go.

Officer: How long are you planning to stay in Canada?

Mr. Lee: Two weeks.

Officer: And where will you be staying?

Mr. Lee: I’ve got a hotel reservation at eh Marriott, where the conference on Sales and Technology is being held. I’ll take their shuttle bus from the airport.

Officer: OK, I’ve stamped your passport for a three – week tourist visa after this date stamped here, you’ll have to make sure to leave the country, or apply for an extension.
