Ten Chinese movies will be sent to the coming Hollywood Chinese American Film Festival, said the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) in Beijing on Wednesday.

The movies, including "My Dream," "The Knot," "Tokyo Trial" and "The Longest Night in Shanghai," are all latest motion pictures in China, the SARFT said in a press release.

"My Dream," a documentary on disabled dancers of China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe, had been released at Cannes in May this year, winning favorable response.

The third Hollywood Chinese American Film Festival is scheduled to open at Hollywood on November 1, jointly hosted by EDI Media Inc., Ruddy Morgan Organization, Shenhart Entertainment and Sun Media Investment Group of Companies, the press release said.

The first festival was held in September 2005 in Los Angeles, the United States, aiming to promote exchanges between film makers of the two countries and introduce more Chinese movies to U.S. audience.
